WWII Pheasant Canteen

During World War II, servicemen would be transferred to their deployment via train. Being a large railroad hub, Aberdeen would be a regular stop for these men. The Red Cross would serve 500,000+ pheasant sandwiches to these men and women. The WWII Pheasant Canteen is currently being displayed at the Elks Lodge.
