    Craft sale, bake sale, raffle, homemade rolls and coffee, BBQ lunch with pie, kid's menu with free cookie, and vendor booths for your shopping pleasure. This is an annual fundraiser for our church.

  9. "Scandinavian Splendor" with Stephanie Chase at the Violin - Aberdeen University/Civic Symphony - 2014

    October 25, 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM @ Aberdeen Civic Theatre

    Brilliant violinist, Stephanie Chase, triumphed last season with her performance of Mendelssohn's "Violin Concerto". She returns to perform Sibelius' magnificent "Violin Concerto in D Minor". Celebrate the 150th anniversary of the birth of this great Finnish composer.

  10. "Silent No More" - A Domestic Violence Awareness - 2014

    October 28, All Day @ Presentation College

    Come join us for a performance by Aberdeen Fire and Rescue Bagpipes. Followed by a candlelight vigil recognizing the issue of domestic violence. We will then move into Lantern Hall for a soup and pie social and a short program featuring stories from survivors. For more information, call 605-226-1212.

    Join us for a evening filled with mystery and intrigue with author Brenda Donelan. Brenda Donelan, formerly of Aberdeen, has published a novel entitled “Day of the Dead.” Donelan will talk about her experience writing this series and will be selling and signing books as well. “Day of the Dead” is a mystery, set in the fictional town of Elmwood, South Dakota. When a college professor is found dead on campus, rumors and innuendo begin to swirl at Midwestern State University. The police department and the university are mysteriously secretive about the professor’s background and the ongoing investigation.
